YOU---YES YOU, you must like this this simple verse of judas kiss all I ask is friend's free hand-- you act as if no understand... I think that you have made it plain... you are the shallow walk be'twain the gallows and the narrow plank the same tight walk that made love rank... YOU...all that I would avoid came wrapped with bow and celluloid-- but yet I know beneath the wrap, I hear the wail within the trap, for all my knowing, I will pay--and gladly live another day... Victim? No. I will not be. The corpse of what you cannot see... Gladly now, I decompose... the stuff that makes the red rose grow... |

Now if that doesn't fertilize the frozen ground then nothing will. Excellent penning my friend. But of course you knew that. Remind me not to ever come to you with my thorns showing. |

"Victim? No. I will not be." You've made it plain all should understand. |

There's a rose that blooms in twilight and it's wonderful to see It can live for many years even though it's sprayed with tears In a rock garden memory [This message has been edited by Quiet One (edited 01-05-2001).] |

great lines.... "Gladly now, I decompose... the stuff that makes the red rose grow." yeah, sometimes it's the silt and manure that help grow the best crops.... it's a wonder i'm not the garden of eden yet... lol.... hey! maybe one day, huh? at this rate, we'll both have our own gardens of eden.... this poem ROCKS! love the angst! hehe ((hugs)) and btw, it reminds me of beethoven.... you know what he's doing right now???
