~ ~ < !signature-->~ ~ My ship set sail at sunset, a dismal time to go; and alone, I sailed into the dusk, in evening's somber glow. I heard the engines revving as your plane prepared its flight; we departed both together, though separate that night. For you flew in to the future as I fell into the past Immersed in memories of you, my sail set at half mast. My ship of dreams slid silent toward horizon's dimming shore, in that haunting quiet night where I could never see you more. ~ ~ ~ The spiritual wind that holds survivors aloft, plants the seeds from which bloom new hope ... slid silent toward horizon's dimming shore, in that haunting quiet night where I could never see you more. a beautifully written piece, though parting is always hard at least the fond memories remain. It's in your eyes a fire that's wild and glorious Unhibited, unfinished in everything I do Let the morning rise like our hearts desire" whipping boy |

Kethry - Thank you! Seymour Tabin - Thanks for your kind words! lucky - you're so sweet. I was thinking of this one because of your beautiful one about the sea, and my father and his boat! I'd be lost too, without you. You are a blessing, my dear husband. Elizabeth Santos - hi my friend! Thank you for your sweet comments! Take care now. Mike - thanks so much for your appreciation! Songbird - It meant a lot to me for you to enjoy my imagery! brian madden - it's true; all whom we have lost, have left memories good and sweet. All we have to do is look. Thanks for your appreciation! nakdthoughts - thank you too, for your comments, and for noticing the form (my husband helped me with that - he's better than I) and the words (all mine). Martie - your poetry is lovely too; thank you for your sweet words. Marge Tindal - that was dear of you to say. It means a lot to me! .. [This message has been edited by Rosemary J.
