A little explanation ... for those of you who may not know, our resident cowboy takes pleasure in teasing me with poetic challenges ... and I will admit ... I love them! Here's to you Mark! Stop the clock, LOL!

My challenge was to take all the poet's titles from page one at that moment in time, and create a poem with them (though you got graphics and colour instead of "shape" Mark, phew ... way too long for a shape), that's 35 titles! ROFL ...

From The Titles of Page One

"Like A Bubble" I live in this fantasy world ...
"New Thoughts" a'flame with
Visions of "Another Chance".

"Is it a New Year?"
Can it be that I am refreshed and alive?
"I Wait" patiently for the answers,
"Listening",
Wondering,
Praying,
That "Somewhere Over The Moon"
I will find "serenity,
Aware......"
And thriving in my consciousness.

I "Carve On"
With the light of a "New Years Celebration",
"Cuddlin' And Snugglin',
On A Sunday Mornin'"
Over "Cyber Seas"
That weave "The Magic In Love".

Joined on the pages of blue,
I envision "Butterfly Reflections"
Dancing amidst the twilight pages of my view ...
Where a "Lovers Lullaby" shines brilliantly
Through golden fluttering wings.

Beyond "Passions Gallery-
Rainbow Girl" shines a prism of elation ...
And throughout all ... there are
"2001 Resolution Tags" to anchor me,
"2001- jupiter exploding" to illuminate me,
"This could be heaven" I sigh ...

I find myself lost in the beauty of it all,
From "Melting Memories" to "silver simple" ...
Lost and elated,
Combined in the joys and the sorrows of all,
Wrapped in "Commiseration"
Where the "Death of a Love so Strong ..."
Can bring me to my knees.

An yet ... even in times of sorrow,
I "Turn Around" and embrace the past,
As "A Call From an Old Friend" reminds me
That "We Could've Made It Anyway" ...

It is in words from the past,
And poems from the present,
That I glean hope for the future ...
'Tis heaven indeed.

For all that I reap from within these walls,
For all that I treasure and hold dear ...
Know that you are each ...
"Simply the best"

"What keeps me here?"
Good friends ...
Companionship ...
And of course, there's always
A "Party Going On In The Alley Forum"

"Please Mr. D.J. ..."
Play me the songs that brighten my heart,
Share with me the tales of
"My Randy Dragon" and
"Fishers of Men - The Ballad of Old Johnny"
"I'm sorry", I smile ... (it's "A Cat Thing)

"Happy New Year 2001" everyone!

/Kit McCallum

I applaud you once again and you know of course I am smiling.  This was a wonderful way to start out the New Year and I thank you for indulging me once more.  This was wonderful and I had no doubt that you could do it.  Take a bow my friend.  You earned it.

Challenge well met, loved the poem especially

I find myself lost in the beauty of it all,
From "Melting Memories" to "silver simple" ...
Lost and elated,
Combined in the joys and the sorrows of all,
Wrapped in "Commiseration"
Where the "Death of a Love so Strong ..."
Can bring me to my knees.

It's in your eyes a fire that's wild and glorious
Unhibited, unfinished in everything I do Let the morning rise like our hearts desire" whipping boy

Kit love, wow met and matched and even topped I'd say. How excellantly you have done this, how utterly wonderfully well.
I think I must still be suffering a little from too much tongue twisting last night, because I am rather tired now. But I had an earlish morning honestly. This is as always an absolutely amazing and delightful piece, and yes I love of course I do.
Take care kid

The only challenge I think you couldn't meet would be to write something bad! This is great...but did ya have to pick a time when I had nothing on the page?   I shall now officially sulk.....
