Remember

As my lips touch gently the lips of this rose,
my eyes see the beauty that reminds me of you;
for in your absence I look for you, when ever
I see the sunrise or sunset or when the stars
are shining brightly. When ever I see beauty,
you will be there in my mind; for you amaze me with
every aspect of your being and I would walk to
the very edge of my existence to be close to you.
I will be there always, searching the very edges
of your sky, where light and darkness meet,
longing to say words, that could never express
the feelings I have for you.  Longing to hold you,
as no embrace could ever hold you;
for I long to hold you in my arms and feel my heart race,
as you breathe life into its emptiness, while your touch
heals the scars of my unfulfilled dreams.
Know, that you are the love God has put
here to shine on me. I dwell in your light,
your love, your beauty, all have become mine
in your absence; for I see beauty
in the pulsation of God's mighty energy
as He distributes the very essence of all things,
to their right place, at the right time,
and in this time, your heart beats in rhythm with my love.

With the dawn, I will await your light
and in that light I will build a new day
from the ashes of my past life,
for in my dreams you fill the visions
of wished for futures and journeys yet traveled
and together we will face the dawn of this new day.
Hand-in-hand we will walk the path of new memories
and the dust of the past will drift on the wind
in our wake, to fade as passing night,
to joy of coming dawn.
Remember...
I will be there always,
waiting for your light.

If a dream touches us, it exists to us as anything else that touches us.
John

John this one was fantastic in many ways.
I quoted the above because I truely loved the promise of how a love can help heal the wounds of the past and make them all but disappear.  Wonderful writing sir.  HAPPY NEW YEAR wherever your time zone may fall.
