the music begins
and he looks around
she's not there
she said she would be

he smiled as he thought
about their time together
she had told him he was her heart
she loved him with all of it

the music ended, another song began
that's when the rose came
and on the card,
"save the last dance for me. . ."

Well, if she doesn't show up in time go find someone else who will appreciate your sweetness.
