Annus Mirabilis By: Noah Eaton 12/31/00 It’s been another year of wonders, and there is reason to suppose That maybe the next year will be even better than this one You’re incarcerated in a situation you can’t get out of, but who knows? I believe you will break out of it very soon and you will find yourself rejoicing with the sun This year was definitely a joyful year for me It wouldn’t have been if I had never meet all you wonderful friends I would had still been down on my knees, wounded, bled of all my hope and sanity Oh, how could I ever begin to thank you for saving my life and true amends I love you all so much, I can’t even begin to tell you how happy you’ve all made me I know now that I am not alone, and I will always have friends, and you are one of them I now look to the future, seeing great possibilities, willing to face the obstacles in store for me While I am stand here in the shoes of a new me, only filled with love and am cheerfully destined And I look upon those whose hearts have broken and love has been lost And you feel like you are disintegrating into the vapor clouds above you, like a ghost Just remember that I’ll always be your friend, all is never lost Just pull yourself together and see the great possibilities ahead you, sweetness comes to whoever needs it the most And there is never any such thing as someone without a true love to love Everyone belongs to one another, God would never make lonely souls If you are one of those broken hearts, look at yourself, there is true love for you and there will always be enough It is never too late to seek it, I give you total faith and hope you will find it soon in the next annus mirabilis I am sure of that… It is still the fire that burns And the mind that learns And the rain that falls And the correcting of our faults And the train that moves And the ocean that soothes And the magic of love that swims high above As we enter the next millennium… It’s been another year of wonders, and maybe next year will be better than this one We may not know what to expect or what is ahead, but I am sure it’s full of wonders I’m still searching for my first, and hopefully, one true love Maybe next year I will find her… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! |

Well said, a perfect reflection on the past as we head towards the future. Really enjoyed the poem, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you. It's in your eyes a fire that's wild and glorious Unhibited, unfinished in everything I do Let the morning rise like our hearts desire" whipping boy |

Noah, this is a deep look into the past, but you must be happy you made it through. I too hope you find your lady-love this year. Good luck and God bless. ME |
