Gallery Special Exhibit Doreen's "Please Write Me" Challenge I close my eyes and the dream begins and I'm there, at first I'm alone then from behind me comes your voice the wind sings your name to my heart and then I feel it, the touch of your hand flowing like silk across my face drying the tears of my heart's loss the warmth coming from you into me bringing back life and love to a cold heart and then I know it, the touch of your hand as it takes my hand into it slowly and softly you lead me to our favorite place there's no one else around, just you and I you whisper softly into my ear, "I love you" and then I love it, the touch of your hand and your lips touch mine like a tender flame I can smell the flowers in your soft hair and you lean your head on my shoulder our dance begins once more my love, my heart and all this from the touch of your hand the sun rises the dream ends but I still feel the touch of your hand. . . --------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
