The Knot

I wander through
a wave of darkness
until a lavender and
tangerine mist have
vanquished all
terrors of the night
replacing each
one with sapphire
dreams of building
passion
rising like the mist
your heat
absorbs my chilling
soul
and together
we
face
the dawn
on tangled
emerald sheets
entwined
