Your Eyes By Richard Maxfield 6-21-2000 With in your eyes I see A thousand new suns rise I see only loving truth No deceit no lies I see my eternal further No reflection of my past I see my new tomorrow From the first to last I see the depth of souls Marching a million strong Pathways to heaven Narrow straight and long I see babies crying For their Mothers arms Fathers standing strong Keeping all safe from harm I see a white doves wing To lift me far above Sooth my broken heart Fill it full of love I see my very one For whom my heart longs Filling my days with joy My mouth full of songs I see a faint reflection Of my very soul Rapture me to your heaven From this mortal place |

Too see so much in another's eyes is a beautiful thing. A beauty you expressed well in your poem. I am no one if not myself. ~*SeLf PrOcLaImEd FrEaK oF nAtUrE*~ |

Beautiful writing, Richard....reminds me of the Johnny Mathis song... In your eyes, I see the magic of the sea I see the beauty of the love The love I feel you feel for me Autumn comes....summer dies I see the passing of the years In your eyes ANd when we part there'll be no tears No goodbyes I'll just look into your eyes those eye so wise so warm so real I love the world your eyes reveal....... |

Evening maxtec1, Much is seen in those eyes that you look into. She is a lucky person, for you to see so much, and to be able to write it down, as you have done. BC |
