Tames the Night

Amid the silence
you are mind imaged,
forged thoughts that intoxicate
as I walk these dreams, attired in lace,
keeping step with your shadow.

From dark to light, I stroll
in silence sealed...
more than words can say,
as you leave me breathless,
in a timeless fantasy.

You penetrate my darkness,
lead me to a journey of love
boundless, mystical,
tiding me to dreams of you.

I open my mind, draw in a breath
and softly drift within your darkness,
as sleep overcomes
and my cravings are devoured
in a field of dreams.

There we blend ... warm and tender
are the movements created
under the mysteries of the moon.

I am shadowed in delight,
etched by your passion,
warmed by your embrace,
imprisoned by your love,
shaped by your touch.

You are my dream within a dream,
my heart laced path
bringing me closer
to the night's call.

Tranquil, I am swept away
'til the soft myst of morn
caresses and kisses me awake
to begin another dawning
adding to my memories treasured,
thoughts to reign, as the sun rises
and tames the night.

Wynter, this was so beautiful, and felt like it could induce that dreamlike state in me, just by the reading of it.
Great work.
