Nabokov, from “Ada” Tender memory, mesmerized by December, apparently Calls on Mnemosyne, to decipher the gleaming scenery Of seemingly frozen greenery, -- Of flashy and passionate thrashing Of flashing and dashing alleys, gushing with emphatic fashion From the blushing ashes of erupting gashes full of embers of December’s slush. well, I imagine that, in the city, slush would be quite prominent, colecting at the edges of the sidewalks. |
