All for the sins of one human...One human who, one time, went one step too far.  That's all it takes to break an angels wings.

Trust broken
  Battered body, bruised soul
Heart shattered
  Living hell no one else knows
Hope killed
  Smoothered beneath human cruelity
Tear-filled eyes
  Beg for one thing alone...mercy
Cold winds
  Chill to the bone
Desolation
  Facing the world alone
Drowning
  Scared to reach out to anyone...especially you
Running away
  How far would you run...if you knew the truth?
Used
  For anothers pleasure, beaten into submission
Discareded
  Not knowing or understanding the mistrust
Goodbye
  You walk away...ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Dying rose withers
  Flicker of life in dead eyes fades, all is lost.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

I could feel the pain from this poem. For as hard as the subject is...It was excellent. This poem hit home at one point in my life. Now never to look back I move on. Wonderful job on this poem, it sunk me and forced me to read on. Love it. Have a wonderful day
