Solitaire Ignoring the pain, I play on; the cards reflecting the days passed. My Red Queen lays to Black King's play, but I, Black Jack wait buried. Solitary players in the game of love, waiting for the game to begin and Jack still waits `neath the bottom of the deck, while Red Queen still plays her king. Jack turns up to show his face and Red Queen waits for cards to touch. Black King still lingers in his jealous game, holding his queen till the end and the queen lies between them both, but her eyes face Jack. If a dream touches us, it exists to us as anything else that touches us. John |
