Sunset Lovers By Richard Maxfield Along the shore In fields of green Trees standing tall Oh what a seen Sun sinking low In orange set sky Pink wispy clouds Floating in my eye Time stands still You here with me Touching you And all we see You in front Laying back on my chest Smell of your hair What peaceful rest My lips find your neck Push away your hair Sweet gentle kiss Show how much I care Ducks playing Like they do No one on earth But me and you Warm tender smile I touch your face My finger tips Your lips I trace Water like glass This I can see Reflecting you Back to me Sharing dreams Hopes and love In the distance Cooing doves As night falls Waters slight steam I’m in heaven I feel its theme Warm fuzzy feelings Of lovers content How I treasure Our time spent Only God could make you Answer to every prayer Graced with your presents For me to share [This message has been edited by maxtec1 (edited 12-21-2000).] |
