I come to you in the moonlight
I whisper in the wind
With haunting softness as is my right
And comfort round me trimmed
So if I come, I stay awhile
Give you cause to make you smile

I travel on the moonlight
To kiss your lips in dark
Gentle caress to give heart flight
With love that leaves its mark
If I arrive, I come to stay
Be with you till the break of day

I whisper in the moonlight
Sounds of surrender sweet
Your shining heart gives off light
When this is how we meet
If I whisper soft and clear
I'll stay till morning finds me here.

So look for me in moonlight
When the moon is full
On moonbeams dance, my soul in flight
For passion is the tool
That draws me through the moons rays
To give you hope for your days

I'll come to you by moonlight
Though hell shall bar the way
For loving in this one full night
Hell is the price I gladly pay
So if I come by moonlight love,
please take me, lift me up above.

Oh my goodness, if all of the Passionate poets start writing like this, I'm going to have to build a whole NEW library, to heck with the annexes!  Kethry!  This is wonderful!

Kethry, Oh love I'm speachless, this is utterly divine, so amazing, truly one of your most romantic and softest yet. Oh how I love it, no one can do it like you  . Utterly exquisitely lovely.
Take care love

thank you for the high praise

Cassandra,
Thanks for stopping by and responding

Sunshine,
Well if you can handle the day so wonderfully, the least I can do is take the night shift occasionally

Marge,
Thank you lovely lady, that the mistress of moonlight should say that, is a compliment indeed

'Deer,
Thank you love, I could break a milion moonbeams in my rush to come

Marsha,
moonlight becomes you, thanks for responding in kind words.

Be well

I thought you WERE the moonlight.  Now I am confused.

WOW my friend.  You have been dipping into the pool of passion for sure and eating the petals from the rose of romance.  Loved this one and the visions of you shimmering across the sky.
