Is the Grass Greener By Richard Maxfield 1-11-1999 Is the grass greener, on the other side Is it so deep, your soul can hide Is life so grand, without me Only time will tell, wait and see Are you happy, with no responsibilities just you to think of, never worry about me what of our children, they miss you so are they on your mind, no place far enough to go when you wake, alone in your bed is there something, you could have said was there something, you could have done besides think of your self, the only one time is the only thing, you cant take back is true love in your life, now what you lack What of our plans, all of our dreams Gone like the dew, so it seams now the fantasy, is worn and gone how does it feel, to have lost your home I loved you more, than anyone could Giving my all, as I should I did all, a human could do its rather ironic, I’m sad for you Is the grass greener, on the other side Is it so deep, your soul can hide Copyright # RM99R4 Live like there is a tomorrow. |

Heartfelt sadness... Hope all is well with you. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

Oh yes dear and thanks for the hope. There was a poem i read titled I Gave my all that reminded me of this old poem and thought I would post it. Love and light. Richard |

It seems a two fold tale enclosed, -yet these stories should unfold- as that of a love bound by two shared on screens of silence and blue. With romance and poems he made her swoon. Her eyes followed blue to fetch his love, his every line would send her reeling when they noticed, it's love their feeling. Communications, their handicap. She needed answers only he could give instead he turning a deaf ear, offering no accountability for lack therof. "Talk, to me", her one request. His love not strong enough she guessed. His love for her died within these pages, she read his words in rhymes of blue. He seeks ways to control his love without saying a single word. She asked more than he could give, please talk to me, her plea. Telephone unrung and all words void of write time to move on dispelling his lies, embedded within lines of his sweet rhymes, now, keepsakes for read in distant times. |
