Hey You Blue jean eyes across from me Scampied tastes to satisfy Wondering...talking poetry The bar bills then began to fly As laughter rang, it's golden tone He and I, in crowd alone A thousand words, the time had flown Seemed as if before, we'd known Each other, maybe, another time Another life, some years ago Was wondering, you know in my mind How easy, life sometimes can flow When company sweet, and kind as this Chances by, a friendship "keep" A time enjoyed, in mind to kiss When words of soft, can reach me deep The more the laughter, the more the smiles Emptied thoughts, from 'cross the miles To try and end the sadness, trials That each withholds, and all the while B arring none, our paths shall meet A nother time, another place R aspberry tea, a garden retreat B looming words, upon me grace I n "fall from bar", a story told L ives in mind, in treasured hold L ifetime saved, as years grow old... A wonderful friendship begins to unfold... thank you, ~Wynter < !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 12-19-2000).] |

thank you ~Cassandra... this has some meaning behind the words besides the imagery..sort of a joke with a poet on here..and the naive belief in a story told... that was just a tale to bring some laughter... ~smiles..hope he enjoys it ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Sounds as if y'all had a great time...hope he reads... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Karilea- the nicest thing about meeting a new friend or even an old one is that the hand reaches out and accepts you for who you are...and that is the way our moment of firsts began..so the talking was easy, the short time spent enjoyable and the day brought a smile to two deserving faces...at least that is how I saw it through my eyes... thank you for reading...I promised to write a little something... in remembrance ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Evening nakdthoughts, This is so touching and I thank you for writing it. It is nice to meet new friends, and I will cherish this friendship. And yes, the laughter was something to behold, very real, and very special. Thanks again. BC |

You are very welcome Bill and now for Marge and any others who were wondering...a while ago Bill Charles told me a story and being naive, I believed him..he said while exercising a barbell fell on his head and he was hospitalized and when he came to, he was an inch and a half shorter I think he said..so when we met the other day I asked him about it and well...he had been teasing and I didn't know it, so between being embarassed and laughing...it became a topic for a poem called BAR BILL and that is what my acrostic was for... thank you for bearing with me at times...he definitely picked up my spirits as he does all of us on here..just be careful in what you believe..~soft smiles ~Wynter and Bill..I am still smiling over it "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |
