I’m a cowboy, did you hear, I’m a cowboy
I live near the range yet I cook with an oven
I’m a cowboy lookin for some cowgirl lovin
I’m a cowboy I live in good ole Fort Worth
I’m a cowboy at least by the rite of my birth
I’m a cowboy cuz I’m down on my luck
I’m a cowboy shh I don’t own a truck
I’m a cowboy I listen to "Oldies 98"
I’m a cowboy "Country" makes me irate
I’m a cowboy folks I wear a ball cap
I’m a cowboy ya’ll just shut yer yap
I’m a cowboy I hate five card Monty
I’m a cowboy pass the Pace Picante
I’m a cowboy I eat varmits for my dinner
I’m a cowboy I put their heads on my veneer
I’m a cowboy I know I didn’t quite rhyme
I’m a cowboy? Geesh! I get that all the time

Walt Walt Walt, Im so proud of you! You've captured it, you really have.  I luv bein a cowgirl, too! All I have to say is "98.7, KLUV!"  I KLUV my oldies thats for sure.  I'm home now for the holidays, and it feels good!  Although, I must say, watching the boys last night get whipped by New York Giants was pretty sad.  Talk about some bad plays at the last 2 minutes.  I've seen better plays called in a little league game. Well, anyway, lol.  Hopefully they will pull it together some day. Great Poem!

You are? I'll take your word for it, and I'm almost ashamed to say, I've absolutely no idea what what you're talking about. Admittedly my understanding was only ever fairly basic, all I know of cowboys is based on what I saw at the wild west night on holiday. And somehow I think that's probably not a viable option to base an opinion on.
Great read, and it was definitely fun.

Take care
