It’s Raining Buckets Virginia Salter It's raining buckets literally I really have to say well, bucket, is more accurate if truth I would convey There in the gutter by the road a two-gallon white does lie swallowing to its middle ground H two O in tie Floating leaves and sunk debris colorfies its charm running here flowing there causing some alarm Will those conveyances that go racing by splash these goods upon my walk and render mud in eye? Wetter, wetter do I grow as rain comes in on wind when will the cats and dogs show up? And when will I grow fins? © November 8, 2000 |
