Waiting

She left me a gift at our time of depart
Plucked from a harp by the pen of her heart.
Words of aroma like a perfumed glove
Spun of the gold of the sun of our love.

And I sailed on the beauty haunting its ring
The grace and the charm that feelings could bring.
But the sad of the moment blinded me so
That I did not see the ebb of its flow.

Now I read each day her rhymes of the lark
Each word lites a candle the pierces the dark.
It floods the gay halls of our castles of air
And turns every memory that ever was there.

It has held me in its cradle of chime
And rocked me each word to lullaby time.
And I wait like a ghost for her to return
To join once again in lovers nocturne.

There is a door in the heart of each soul
That waits for but one to make itself whole.

Oh, Seymour~
This reaches out and grabs my heart.

'Now I read each day her rhymes of the lark
Each word lites a candle the pierces the dark.
It floods the gay halls of our castles of air
And turns every memory that ever was there.'

Just too, too lovely.
She will return to light your heart with joy.
