Never Goodbye

I lament a dove that flew away
She left a rhyme a verse to stay.
Wrapped in starlights delicate thread
On my pillow next to my head.

It said goodbye and did not know
Goodbye could eclipse a rainbow
In misty mist and teary seem
In colors of her hopes and dream.

And as I read it made me sigh.
Her misinterpret of goodbye
Dissolving of the rainbows bright
Disappearing from her sight.

She said the shadows would remain
The glow would always haunt, sustain
And she would listen each new morrow
Winds that carry yesterdays borrow.

I sorrow in the deepest gloom
The passage of the rainbows bloom.
There's nothing that I would not give
To touch our moment in relive.

The door to my soul is ajar
And soul to soul is never far.

Seymour~
This is one of the prettiest pieces I've ever read.
How gentle the phrases bestow your thoughts to these eyes.
A true joy to behold on this day.
I will hold this piece in my heart for a long, long time.

Seymour,

Alas, the door is always open.  It awaits one with the courage to enter in.  Wonderful writing.

Ahh, when words do fail us
and we can't take them back
too late to explain...

So poingant, Seymour.

This is absolutely exquisitely written!  Poignant and haunting love story, my favorite kind of poetry.  Your talent is very great, my friend.

Seymour, I concur with Marge this is one of my prized poems written by you...

So delicately weaved with tenderness it's a rare jewel to find one like this, and I thank you for a most enjoyable read...

Coco

"She said the shadows would remain the glow would always haunt, sustain" It's kinda difficult to select one verse from the beauty of the whole poem but this one quoted purely captivated this reader...

Sir, I always will "notice"...

so this MUST fly...

once more...

for you,

as I do know those that are most special...

Today I needed this, saw a gleam like a sweet kiss, so from this place uniquely remarkable [see, no rusting], and with a little dusting, and a lot of care, I took a dare, as I shall loose it and send it forth again, for a very, very special friend...
