Every other other day fighting fevers live-this-way... fighting fingers of death's creep... I BEG YOU, kiss me tell me sweet TELL ME THAT THIS IS NOT SO... i beg you, beg you,that i stay... and i could die another way...? What bargain could I strike with Gods? Place my bet. I'll take the odds. And if there is but one god left I'll milk Her breast and drink His breath, If only to acknowledge death.... oh tell me, I have gifts, regrets, can i die yet, another way? i beg you, beg you, may i stay... and may i die, another way? The silence grins in mockery. Yes...or, no...is good to me... Every other day is good. Every other day as should... I feel...I feel...I am alive... I wish...I wish...that I would die. And get it over with. |

Don't like the end of this one because I love my Celeste.......great write!... deep as a prophet's vision you can go sometimes Serenity... caught the trail of fears and tears spilling across the page....I love the dark beauty in here, the hurt that life imposes and turns a poet like you to writing this way...hope it's not really at your expense.....ethome [This message has been edited by ethome (edited 12-16-2000).] |

Celeste is well, and even picking up some French *wink*, I thank you much, you honor me greatly with your concern and your wonderful and generous replies. insect....once again, you too, honor me. I am saving this page so that I can read your reply when I am down. You are adorable and you dazzle me, my friend. Glad to hear that you are fine my sweet as I was about to jump a plane and head down there with JM in tow. Now we both know what that would mean don't we? You are a gift to us all and your words are the ribbon in which you are wrapped and you are certainly one to be opened slowly and neatly as the moments with you are cherished in every second.
