Sayonara

Did you know I was starting to fall in love with you
and for reasons unknown to me you suddenly said we were through.

And although I'm pretty sure I appreciated you more than any other woman I have known before
perhaps I did all you would require of me
and you simply were not desiring my affection any more.

So I can go or I can stay.
You can hold me close or push me away.
Hey, this is no big deal for me.
I'll simply be exactly what you want me to be.

The lesson learned is to carefully kiss your friends.
Know the place where friendship ends and love begins.
And no matter what you say or do
don't fall in love with her
til your absolutely sure she's fallen in love with you.

Sayonara...

James~ I'm sorry she isn't smart enough to realize how wonderful you are........there is a woman out there that will give as much as you do....she will love you and give you all you need and so richly deserve....... -SEA

Sweetbabyjames...there is more wisdom in that verse than I have words for...
and I know its a hard learned lesson ...
one of those "kicked in the chest" lessons of the heart...
seems like we learn em all the hard way dont it? yeah I know

if you find anything~let me in
Your eyes~you see everything
my eyes~I see it all together now~and I know

James, very good poem, but I'm afraid you'll never really know about when love comes around, Sometimes love doesn't always show it's face in the beginning, give it time.

Janet thank you for your tender words..know what you mean about pages moving fast..
Charisma I am first looking for an honest and sincere friendship from which love will grow.  She has to be a good kisser...this one always gets me into trouble..
kaile I think they already have..enjoy hearing from sincere people.
Rosebud I am willing to give love time...when feelings grow in my heart they stay and wait patiently for the others feelings to grow...and then we have some interesting possibilities...
Paula you are the sweetest...I appreciate your sincerity...will be headed to California soon for Christmas with my mom, my sons, brothers and sisters, and old friends.  Hope you all have a merry Christmas.  Love and kisses...James
