Gallery How violently the hurt comes when you leave me. Your parting glance always leaves me unconscious, immobilized. I condemn my thoughts in a sanctuary of comparisons and contradictions. I hold our moments before, in a tapestry in my mind. The colors are woven between all my feelings, that resurrect in an epitaph of sorrow. You were an adventure I longed for. A celebration my body yearned for. But I know, that you are a painting in a gallery, So priceless, So concise, ...that I could never afford you. |

wow. this is like a smack in the face! powerful and forward. i like it very much!!! i remember feeling this way too... the first few lines really drew me in... i like the words you use. "How violently the hurt comes when you leave me." crisp. You don't hear much about guys who take their shot and miss... |
