Were the truth to be known I am not even close to the talent that's shown by my friend E. Santos What she frequently pens has such style and flair that the dance of her words out-performs Fred Astaire's For her to acknowledge my work is an honor when indeed it is I who should heap praise upon her I came to this site with a passion to learn in my own stumbling way for me to have earned the notice of one who I would call mentor far from me being done let me show my intent , for she is among those who've shaped what I write as are many others on this "Passions" site Who without which my works would appear very crude devoid of the influence that they have imbued which every so often will rise to the top the cream in my butter without which I'd flop like a fish out of water a whale on the beach that strives for salvation that's just out of reach forever to flounder but never to fly cast from this symbiosis to wither and die so let me say "Thanks" for all the instuction to one who indeed needs no introduction Who's work I've admired from afar , yet up close you've just won a cigar if you said , E. Now that you have told the truth About your feelings, DR. Moose I'd like to add what you forgot About the talent you have got Inspiration is quite nice It gives a muse a little spice But talent also plays a part In pouring phrases from the heart And you, my friend produce them well That old pantoum or villanelle AS for me my verse is plain And influenced by your refrain And every poet here at passions Is my mentor in a fashion Thank you, thank you, for the post My Dr. Moose, you are the most!
