felt the drops, the sting of cold the quiet noise, the empty hold once more the mind, begins it's doubt the Wynter winds, to howl without... two lines for now, to write paired thoughts no whispers heard, in calmness sought once was a time, when sweetness reigned wondering if and why, attained complaining not, just catching flow as rivers run, from down below window watching, pressed to face refecting lights, in filtered space awakened now, no "mares" were dreamed complete surrender, or so it seemed to eyes, to lips, to touches, all the rain has softened to myst the wall tapping out, the heartened beat of missing words, "till next we meet"..... ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Wynter~ What a lovely grouping of couplets. My singled out favorite - 'awakened now, no "mares" were dreamed complete surrender, or so it seemed' WONDERFUL ! *wink* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
