It falls on me to say the words I tremble
those that shake me from my doom
delievering my uncharted heart
to a world best left alone.
Though this really has nothing to do with
my life in the shadows of great things,
like the way water falls from leaves
at the begining of the day.
Or the way the Sun shimmers off
the high peaks of Yosemite
as an ancient song begins
in a soft melodic fancy.
But my words that tremble from me!
Christ, cannot you just affoard the time
to sit in silence prior to judgement
in some small attempt to understand.
Yes!?! Then you have a heart
that I left mine unwilling to transfer
to this lost state of consiousness
that makes me shake with anger.
But being me, as such the fool I am,
I say please understand my mistakes
and forgive my insolance as petty,
for my heart does grow the winds and tides.

Michael, this is beautiful, and I well understand the plea for understanding...so glad I found this piece...some very vivid images here!
