The weatherman says it's coming, A "lake effect event" Sounds like something exciting, I wonder what he meant? Could it be some kind of sale, Or perhaps a tall ship show, Maybe a concert by some new band, Soon enough I'm sure I'll know. When I can't get out of my driveway, 'Cause my car is buried in snow, Dumped there by this great "event" Caused by Erie and Ontario! |

LOL Bonnie I'm just far enough away that I'm not affected by 'lake effect' snow. Phew! Great poem Bonnie, enjoyed it! <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. I don't question YOUR existance - GOD |

Wow! It's snow, huh? I thought maybe it was going to be a flood. Perhaps, in a way, it is, eh? So, you're house bound? How long do you think it will last? Your poem is great, excellent flow! That will be a plus to your being house bound...great poems to share with us. Thanks! |

Huron the east side of the Great Lakes? Kind of Erie sometimes how those storms come out of nowhere. Just goes to show how Superior nature is to us poor mortals. Since I moved west, I don't Michigan darned thing about those events... (Ontario... wasn't he some ancient Roman Senator?) oh twell.. enjoyed the poem... nicely written. |
