Let’s hear a cheer for Dr. Moose He holds the pen of Dr. Seuss For Dr. Seuss is Dr. Moose A fact that I did not deduce It is the truth, they both produce More rhyme in time than Mother Goose Whatever form, whatever task It isn’t anything to ask For Dr. Moose to quick produce A patterned verse of certain use More intricate than Dr. Seuss And much more fun than Mother Goose He dips his pen into the well And there it is! - A Villanelle! A Terzandelle!, a Paradelle! Perfect form and written well A fine Sestina, Split Sestet Limerick, Tanka, Rondelet And now he’s into Pantoum land A place he simple waves his hand And there it is, another score A one foot, two foot, three foot, four So kindly let me introduce A Dr.Seuss called Dr.Moose Liz |
