Spooky The devil has tweaked my fingers They seem to spew out bad advice. Over the wrong words they linger. Although I think sweet and nice I would speak of love and duty But it does not come out that way It outs like captured booty Nothing like what I would say. The devil's turned my hand sour The flowers wilt that I would hold They seemed to have lost the power And type out words of mostly bold. I sit and stare at what I write It seems to spell out only bore I see no words of sheer delight I cannot write of love no more. The nightengale has turned to crow For what reason, I do not know? |

Ah, my friend, do not despair! We all have times like this! I've had one for over a month! Your wonderful and talented muse will soon return! . The spiritual wind that holds survivors aloft, plants the seeds from which bloom new hope ... R.J.G. |

You are sweet and nice, I enjoy your words. Tell the devil to take a hike, and let you get on with life. Pick up that pen and start to write of love again. Then watch the ladies swarm in. |

In the dark of night he dwelt cursed the hand that he was dealt no one knew of how he felt he wanted just one heart to melt and she, she silently looked in saw the darkness there within cursed the dark that held him tight and held him long throughout the night < !signature--> Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 12-12-2000).] |

You mean there's a REASON why everything I try to say comes out wrong? *G* Geesh... I thought it was just me... so glad to know I'm not at fault (Okay, I know I tell Toe that everything is my fault... and it generally is. *G* But I do sometimes wonder! LOL) This is great, Seymour... and not at all sour! *S* |
