She

God you must really hate this man I have come to be
because the woman I care for doesn't care for me.
She is the woman I adore.
She is the woman that doesn't like me any more.
Could her rejection be a measure of your displeasure?
Are you not the God that created man and desired he would not be alone?
Are you not the God that created woman to insure neither man nor woman would be alone?
Am I expecting too much from the female species?
I only ask for just enough attention to sustain me.
I don't really require her Love for all eternity.
If only my earthly time could be so heavenly blessed
so I could live on this earth within her arms and wrapped in happiness.
Am I not doing my part?
I freely give all the feelings from within my heart.
I try to please her in every way.
I gave my heart to her
and still she wouldn't stay.
She never said goodbye.
She just went away.

I feel your pain in your words...but, one day, the right woman will stay. Nice work, James.

Thank you Sea, Startime, inot, Kris, vandana, amy and Victoria for your lovely responses...she called me this morning and offered some explanations...I listened for a while...her words were sweet and soothing...she ask me how I was doing and for some reason I said "alright"..I immediately rephrased that response and honestly told her how I felt...I was acting like a scared rabbit being chased by a bear...wondering how I had failed...she told me I didn't fail at all...she appreciates my friendship...she is simply a very busy woman...I understand for I am the same as she...the journey will continue...better defined and more refined...James
