In a blink,
A moment or a day gone,
Shut my eye,
Years gone by,
Passing quickly it’s beyond,
While I think,

In a dream,
Of my wasted days and nights
Everything
And nothing,
Reality fades from sight,
All a dream.

Gone are years,
While waiting for happenings,
Yet undone
Not begun,
Life is a pause unfolding,
Without fears.

Sitting here, within flowers,
That are changing, with the time,
Getting wet, when the showers,
Start metering out my rhyme.
Sitting here, within the thorns,
Growing ice, time now winter,
Snowing now, on the path worn,
Passerby’s feet don’t enter
Staying gone, from my garden
Knowing now there’s no flowers,
Nothing here, lonely I am
Blanket white, the cold’s power.
Melting comes with my sloth ways,
Rushing passed with many days.

Icy white,
Coatings with the wind blown snows,
Swirling ride
To walls side,
Deepening as darkness grows,
Snows all night.

White lashes,
Snow coated in a day’s night,
Clearing blinks,
And time winks,
Waiting brings back sun so bright,
Snow passes.

Blooms come back,
Just like they did yesterday,
Here once more,
As before
Was it a year or a day,
White or black.

Slothfully
I have watched all the events,
Passing by
Blinking eye,
All the things to never went,
The sloth me.

Now lay down that pen and go participate in the happenings and even create some of your own and then come share those with us.  This was a wonderful read and it is so easy to just watch the world pass by and then wonder where the time went.  The only way to slow it down is to make YOUR time faster.  Great penning.

Thank you, Mark
For me, the pen is my happenings,
These words are what I have to offer
as if the were actually events, thus giving me motions.
I am pleased that you liked my penning,
And would like to find away to do things faster.
Although, what is time but a reflection of our memories to the past
And the projection of our hope into the future.

Thank you, angelswing,
Your words are kind.
At almost three times your age,
I feel that the biggest midlife crisis is what to eat for lunch,
Being as I don’t know when the end is till it’s over,
The middle can’t be determined.
There is a waiting for death we all have, the view point changes
Moment to moment of lives.  Time is just the moments, the now.
Moments of liveliness, moments of sleepy dreams, the moments of pain,
Which is the middle?
And don’t worry about depressing me,
After all I am

I'm glad you can let go so quickly... But I think it's a lie or you wouldn't write the way you do... Nevertheless God made you to be you...

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

Thank you, Lucky,
For the response, not sure what you think I have a hold of
To let go, but I hold nothing too tightly.
Yes, God made me to be me,
Just as he make all of us to be ourselves,
What ever the fate.
