Living Inside A SnowGlobe

I love the magic of this day
cold to colder still
living inside a magic snowglobe
giving me a thrill

crystal white flakes falling down
all around this house
making me feel so very small
like a Christmas mouse

now if I gently use imagination
and giggle in my soul
why then you can shake me up
and shake this snowy cold

and 'round and 'round silver slivers will fly
these sparkling crystal flakes
the chill wind will then lift to sky
just by your very shake

so shake my snowglobe merrily
give me a little thrill
better yet come and sing me happily
and warm away the chill

10 December 2000

I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

I looked and looked for a little mouse in a globe, and all I could find was this little angel... Maybe she feels the same way..

Nice job, Kari..

Kari, this is delicious, and a wonderful delightful read, I really love the idea of you living in a snowglobe. Utterly wonderful, magic as it all is.

oh. . . the weather outside is frightful,
but the fire is so delightful
and since we've no place to go,
Let it snow
          Let it snow
                    Let it snow!!

Anyone care to join me??

Great poem my friend. . .
