The moon slipped out of daze uniformed balance behind it's mask of clouds full of rain while gently smilling upon a desperate land that needs it's light to cover our pain. The pain of a lost loved one the river of sorrow that it creats from the tears that have been slowly shed on this eve which comes to us today. To see the earth still unfurled not yet settling in to it's final pace the flowers slowly fade their shades as new ones come to take their place. As I watch her walk to this site to see her head bow in fruitfull grace her silence flows from her heart as the first touch of water slips her cheek. I come up to touch her solace help to take the flood of loss away give her my heart to help her pain and give her some strength. And slowly let the moon come to us to find our hopes to live again allowing the light to shine our souls to follow our dreams today. |

Michael, could not believe I found this beauty hiding with no replies. I loved this, and the moon is a wonderful metaphor of "cycles" and the passing of time. Thank you for this one today, I did so need to read it, as I am going through similar passages myself. |

lovely. Very rich in imagery. I did not take this one as metaphorical, but rather as the simple creative touch to capture the power of the moon. With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free.. dragonpoe |

Yes, Solace, the perfect word when I think of the moon...thank you "Always be a first rate version of your self instead of a second rate version of someone else." Marilyn Monroe |
