Distant Thought Amid the silence of abandoned night A vision of emptiness one does hide Whilst a heart consumed with question...... wondering why love must be tested Within the shadows of lonely fog Is where a spirit carefully walks A soul containing such purity...... yearning for one to hear it's plea Between the rays of morning sun Tears of night are soon forgot Memory of yesterday...... now a distant thought |

stylish and sad sentiments of the morning after... vivid, pretty, and teary. the flow is most enjoyable "The bar is always open, the time is always right. If God's good word goes unspoken, then the music plays all night." |

Dani~ Your quill writes with feathered softness. Cashmere phrases of thought. Such enjoyment you lend to this circle of friends. *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Between the rays of morning sun Tears of night are soon forgot Memory of yesterday...... now a distant thought Beautifully written, a wonderfully penned poem. "an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women". Patti Smith |
