Holiday Rush By Richard Maxfield 12-10-2000 The lights twinkle bright Christmas tunes are sang Shoppers rushing by Snowflakes begin to fall Trees dressed so bright Adorn the window proud Neatly wrapped presents Sales at every store Fireplace burning hot Sips of eggnog Candies of ever color Sparkling children’s eyes Out front the bell ringer Hurried holiday pace Christmas dinner cooking Snowman standing strong In the darken shadows Seeing life go by Lonely man is standing No tears left to cry |

Your words carry a deep meaning. We must remember that for all the joy this time of year there are those who don't have anyone to love. Be kind to those who have no one!! |

a very sad one indeed..maybe even a smile would make him feel better..instead of treating them like a shadow in the dark. ~Victoria~ A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) |

This is great, they would love this in the holiday section! "Always be a first rate version of your self instead of a second rate version of someone else." Marilyn Monroe |

so sad, but I believe the smallest gift shows the greatest love, sometimes just a simple smile at a person may be the starting point, Christmas is giving. |
