Shall I pour my heart and soul
into this borrowed space,
Never knowing any given moment,
all could be erased?
Shall I capture the meaning of the
Heavens, the stars, the very existence,
Of the light of day?
Or should I just breathe in the essence,
Of each given moment,
That only God can make,
Oh how temporal our thoughts,
Yet vastly the heavens do expand,
Heavens glistening beyond the realm of time
Yet so lovingly he took the time,
To surrender the one and only king.
So we may share in Christmas time,
The real meaning, For God so loved.

Lovely!  Absolutely lovely, especially on the second read when I read with my heart. (Ater I got over the e missing from breathe.)

A wonderful piece filled with glorious truth and stated so tenderly, not preachily (spelling?)  You did great!!!

Thank you so much Butterflies don't cry
So often at Christmas I'm reminded of Christ who brings out the beauty of Christmas, the joy of love and the inner peace He brings.

Now this gets one in the TRUE FEELING and mindset for Christmas my friend.  Just lovely and so dearly needed in all the hustle and bustle of the season.  It truely hit the spot with all the love that we so often take for granted.

A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses.
