Call To The Wind By Richard Maxfield 7-18-2000 I call to the wind Listen for a sound Toss love to the sky Falls back to the ground Toss a single pebble On still waters quiet Lonely heart aching Darkness of the night A cried teardrop Falls on deaf ears A lighted candle Snuffed by fears Toil and anguish Nothing yet to gain Changing everything All remains the same Gentle spoken words No one ever hears Vision in the darkness Not so very clear Reach out at night No one there to hold Things that cant be bought Have yet been sold Dreams never dreamt Can they come true Longing for true love What more can I do |
