Peaceful Pond

Bright and cheery
This spring time day
Mated birds
Sing and play

In meadow fields
Of lively green
Weeping willows
What a scene

Worthy old craft
This wooden boat
Upon peaceful pond
You and I float

Bleach white dress
So soft it flows
Drifting along
As breeze blows

A song I sing
To lady fair
Swans swim by
With out a care

Still waters
Reflections see
Vision of beauty
Back to me

Spin of the parasol
Sensual glance
Fills my heart
With romance
