I know that I'm lost now
That I'm not you
And that I can't be
All that I wanted to

I emulate brain waves
To see like they do
But I'm stuck in here
Pushing myself through

And I can't get out now
They've gotten to me
I'm giving into
All that I can't see

I stimulate mind hates
To feel me in you
I'm trapped behind here
Thinking what you'd do

Please let me free now
Just let me go
I didn't need this
I just don't want to know

I recreate free thoughts
My mind is my will
I will break through them
And be myself still

I know that I'm lost now
That I'm not you
But I won't ever be
What they tell me to
