when I was but a youngster I found such truth in eyes of maiden fair there wasn't a soul who could make it dim and we talked and we ran we were destined sure to win & the learning was surely “good” until the spirits came a desiring ways to part us and then told me how love was just a four letter word & when you left & away you took those tender parts I miss not to mention my life and what ever you could else I stopped that day my wandering just how it was them spirits knew and how exactly they came to know that it was you’d planned to do . Lucky~ 'when I was but a youngster I found such truth in eyes of maiden fair' As the fates would allow - you found the perfect eyes in our Rosemary ! I'd say you were lucky indeed ! ![]() And you darn-well know it ! ![]() I'll bet Jane, Linda and Maria don't even read poetry - much less write it as exquisitely as those eyes across the fir-lined study ! ![]() You tickle me. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
