I Just Now Hear The Sound Sometimes all it takes is one quiet minute To get back all that was lost inside Sometimes all it takes is one quiet moment To get back what was buried behind... Living without you is the only truth I've known Since the hour you made heaven your home All I could say was that you'd never again be here Couldn't even look back to remember you throughout our years... Lying alone I got to hear all the things that were a part of when you were around Tonight, I got back everything; I just now hear the sound I searched for all the words that you used to say I heard the sound of your voice as if you never went away... Here in the dark I got to see your eyes Now, I see why I didn't want to cry Here in my mind I pictured your face And, swearing to you it's forever to stay... Living my days without you could never be the same And, for you, tonight, these tears fall like rain I remembered the way you sighed out loud I thought I'd never hear it again but I just now hear the sound. So clearly, I can see us walking once again down the street I just now hear the sound of your footsteps walking with me We're too far apart to bridge the distance now But, if you'd come back I'd make it up to you somehow... I can't find the words to say what I've been going through So, maybe you'll understand if you see me crying for you I can't tell if I want to lose or to win this fight I just now hear the sound of my loneliest nights... I'll make sure that your smile is frozen in time Because all I have is what I can picture in my mind And, there's only one thing you didn't do The day you left you forgot to take me with you... Tonight I feel how I am making it is wrong Cause I just now hear the sound of you gone So, where does my strong someday begin? Cause in every way I feel weaker with each day I'm given... Here in the dark I got to meet you again I don't want to close my eyes; I don't want it to end I pray that you can see my heart waving inside And, I just now hear the sound of good-bye... Saunni~ Honey, this is just so sad - and yet perhaps to finally hear that goodbye is a new beginning. I hope so for you - *Hugs* You are only separated the distance of angel wings. And those memories will flutter to you and bring you comfort. 'I pray that you can see my heart waving inside And, I just now hear the sound of good-bye...' Oh, dear one, your loss is heartfelt and true as you share it with us using your wonderful talent. My heart hurts for the pain of loss you are feeling and I can only pray that things will get better. Marge, thanks for writing me. Yes this is sad, and well to be honest, I live all my days being sad. I wish too I could find comfort somehow. Thanks again. At least I dont always write sad things lol. It really is a process to grieve a lost relationship and of course you have hurts and pains that will be lived and felt and there will come a time when you will be able to let go and go on...take care of yourself...James |
