Shiny paper, ribbons, and bows strewn across the table becoming an organized mess Make it neat and make it pretty perfection was the key her job was always to impress Days, weeks, and months were to be spent in preparing this but last minute shopping nonetheless Some lights, some cards, always a tree an old orange lighted star forever a fixture on top Presents and family dinner mistletoe and turkey A hearty “Ho-Ho-Ho’ from Pop These are memories from my youth of special times with you but last year they have to stop Although the day is still to come the feeling and the love will never again seem complete Because instead of preparing and planning together my heart will thump a solo beat I will think of you in heaven and worship Him from here knowing that you are at His feet Love one another-let God do the worrying, Rodney |

You have so much remorse in this poem, i can understand what your feeling, I think we have a lot in common, I always right about what I've lost aswell . The poem was realy deep and meaningful . I loved it . Stay happy, Thanx . L.of.L. Tom . Don't try, do or do not, there is no try . - Master Yoda - |

This is a lovely tribute to one that you obviously loved dearly though it is sad. The lonliness you feel will be filled with warm memories I am sure and knowing that at the feet of the Lord is where she rests should bring some peace to you. It is never easy, but the day will come when once again you will be side by side and until then, just hang on to the beautiful memories and honor your loved one in that way. A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses. author unknown |

Truely sad. A wonderful poem none the less, a touching trubute. Take care Even in the darkest night, someone will be there holding a candle for you. |
