Someday... You'll see me coming, all eyes will stop for time. My warmth will brighten up the cold and offer what is mine: A smile to cheer the darkest soul Words to silent speak, Lips of soft to kiss away The world of dreary, bleak. Someday... Someone will reach out, too And grab this golden ring. We'll carousel, just he and I There'll be no spiraling. No downward falls, just straight aheads And maybe, upward floats. Simply true, these words I pen, I wear, in body coat. I'm gloved in cashmere, richly soft Covered head to toe, In fleecing of the words I hear, of thoughts in constant row. Someday a piece I'll find in you then puzzled, I'll not be My someone, by my side, to light and wear the whole of me. Someday... This cold will disappear The coat and gloves begone Cloaked and gifted, love beseen Some day, there'll be some one. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |
