I stare into the mirror At a sad and somber clown One that gave love too freely In hopes of love in return Lavish me with affection I've heard so many times Now you’re suffocating me Where's that thin line You are so nice I've been told You have a caring and good heart Now get away from me please I'm no longer falling apart Knights dream of the maidens Fight hard for love to be true Only thing that they forget Maidens are for princes not you What once was a mighty man, So sure he'd conquer the world Is now standing with an empty heart He's been reduced to a Jester's role Being a fool can be entertaining For most to watch and see Being a fool tears me apart But I'll repeat the role Those who don't learn From history's mistakes Are doomed to repeat it As I will for eternity. < !signature--> Beacon of Hope! I this is personal, may I just say m'friend, that it was not you who was the fool... Kind of sad, but I enjoyed the resolve apparent in closing...I enjoyed muchly! |
