And to you, my dear, I raise my glass And toast the union of our souls That bring together immortal joy Of lovers embraced in a cosmic dance And, - Oh yes, - we have danced before I remember you from times long gone I seek your aura everytime I'm here I can feel the Quickening when you are near You do not know me, although you will Your essence is present as I can feel Your love that carries across the years We are soul-mates, there are no tears We are linked through the Ether Umbilical to each other Time is our Father And Love - our Mother That brings us back time and again To relive our lives and forget all pain That wrenches us when we are due To return to the Everlasting Blue It is so fine to find another That is waiting for me, a familiar lover I can reach for her and know I'll find Welcoming arms and an open mind That knows we are playing the same old tune That has joined with me as we raced the moon Around the world, Oh, it was fun You are my truly, Only One < !signature--> ~ You cannot be what you want to be if you do not know who you are ~ [This message has been edited by Wishmaster (edited 12-03-2000).] |

"We are linked through the Ether Umbilical to each other Time is our Father And Love - our Mother" What a beautiful serenade to eternal love... I enjoyed this much. Excellent writing. Poeminister |

You employ an unusual style in this poem...and it likes me... 'And, - Oh yes, - we have danced before I remember you from times long gone I seek your aura everytime I'm here I can feel the Quickening when you are near' I like the rhythm here...welcome to passions...and thanks for the read... Wishmaster, I welcomed you earlier...and now I can only thank you for a most wondrous piece that shall grace my library, as it speaks to me, as I am sure it will speak to many others... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Thank you very much for all your wonderful comments, it means much to an unworthy poet such as I. Let sweet sincerity always herald the arrival of peace in one's life. Wishmaster. ~ You cannot be what you want to be if you do not know who you are ~ |

Should Romeo forsake his task, call on me to serenade you, and underneath your window I'll sing sweet echoes of love, that will set your soul aflame. Thanks Joyce. ~ You cannot be what you want to be if you do not know who you are ~ |
