A photo I took of the sun setting over a lake in Ireland prompted me to write this, if you would like a copy, please email me. Fire and Water It’s just not possible But it looks like it to me Fire on water? Not true - Can’t be Who has the power? Creating such tricks of light If you have any doubt Wait till night The fire is not burning The waters calm So still The gift of sight is not over Go see if I am right Cast your eyes skyward On the darkest, darkest night Appreciate all you see It’s too hard to describe For a mortal such as me So much beauty abounds You‘re alive. Make the most But most of all See. |

Peter~ You've written of my favorite scene ... the touching of the evening sun ... across the lake. You might enjoy this one I did on this very subject. /pip/Forum24/HTML/001282.html Can't get enough sunsets ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

PeterPeter- Very nice. You've created a beautiful picture here. Must bring this back to page one so more people can enjoy it. -vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truely met the poet." -vlraynes |
