The Detail of a Flower Have you ever looked into my eyes Have you ever seen all the colors my pod, first hides Blues, Reds, Yellows As time goes by you’ll see them You’ll mellow But don’t wait too long For you will surely miss My moment of beauty Gone with a kiss |

Welcome! And wonderful details they are! Stop and smell the roses..they don't last too long for sure! <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. |

All the seasons of life have their own beauty...even as they die...I have noticed...enjoyed your poem.< !signature--> In the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. (ee cummings) [This message has been edited by Martie (edited 09-27-2000).] |

~PeterPeter This is your first piece that I've read. I really liked this one a lot. You have combined two of my favorite things...flowers and kisses hehe. Excellent imagery and beautiful poem you have here. Take care. Amy "The head learns knew things, but the heart forever more practices old experiences" |
