Doesn't seem so long ago... Only a matter of seconds. Not the years, That have really passed. Holding hands, Under skys brimming in stars. Rockets going off, Tender kisses the ignitor. Marriage Ended all that. And I became your Nemesis. Your antagonist. Married in name Only. Ruined spirit Edged in bruises. |

Whoa! Excellent write, but I'm sorry to hear if things are really that way! But, a great write, nonetheless! I like it!! sp Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'it might have been.' -John Greenleaf Whittier |

Oh Seraphin ... there's such sorrow behind these difficult words you've penned. All too often, they can be related to by many. Hugs to you for this heart-wrenching and powerful poem. Best wishes, /Kit |

You know Sandi, You've said this so well. To the point and with great strength and conviction. If I didn;t know better, I'd say you've been watching my life and wrote this. I know just where you are coming from hun! Hugs! And look, it's yet another man that needs a poke in the eye! ~Sheri "The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first" |

It is such a shame that when two people get married that all of a sudden it seems that all the romance and the trying goes out the window. If only people could love tomorrow the same way they do today ALWAYS....then the growth of love would be so wonderous. Your words ring so much truth that they hurt and I hurt for you but I too have been there and YOU WILL see the sunshine and feel it's warmth again someday. HUGS TO YOU. |
