Senyrus of Love and Friendship
~~*~~
Eyes

Golden flecks of brown
meshing with green in this night
valley of truth found

~~*~~

Heart

Thunder residing
within small chambers of love
knowledge now assured

~~*~~

Soul

Whispers heard in wind
with gentle truth in this night
as two souls connect

~~*~~

Kiss

Warmth of love resting
in moistured breeches of care
as our lips caress

~~*~~

Touch

Tingles of needles
surging ripples escalate
fingers now entwined

Mark Christopher

Mark my friend, as I said before you just get better. Since I'm running out of praise for you I shall give you an ovation, well it's either that or bouquets, and you have your own roses, so take your bows, and no false modesty.
Love this

"Soul"

"Whispers heard in wind
with gentle truth in this night
as two souls connect"

All are incredibly wonderful Mark, but I like to choose when you give me so much to ponder ... so if I must dare myself, then "Soul" t'would be my favorite. There's something about the beauty of two souls meeting that you've captured so sweetly here. All are simply lovely Mark!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Sunny1-Thank you much and a big thank you for smiling when you kiss me

Kit-My friend I do thank you and I appreciate you picking out the one that you like most.

Marge-I too enjoy that one as I do enjoy touch even when it is as simple as two friends holding hands in silence

Deb-Sometimes whispers are heard more clearly than words shouted and I hope in this case it is true for that special angel out there.  Thank you my friend.

Holly-

Mark, I kept skimming past this. Senryu's... I just love them. One of my favourite forms to write in multiples. You do them with great flair, so you'll probably be saying how sonnets are easy after awhile too.

As I was wandering from piece to piece responding, I had to take a time out and read this over and over again.  It touched me.  DEEP!!!  I think that you wrote this at a time when I needed it the most without knowing it and me.  So thank you for sharing this beautiful piece.

Are you purposely trying to steal my heart, my friend???  LOL

If you keep writing these lovely Senryu's that is just what is going to happen!

I can't wait for your first Sonnet.  I have no doubt it will be just as lovely......
